Winning 6 CLs with three different teams will be the greatest accomplishment by any player ever.

I wouldn't be surprised if he retires with 8 CL medals.

@ Vava

Except I doubt we'd be seeing people cream their pants over either on a Djokovic forum and start referring to Nadal/Federer winning as "us."

That's because you are a Serena fan foremost.

This Messi vs Ronaldo rivalry is primarily based on hoards of people who vicariously experience their own highs through the accomplishments of Messi or Ronaldo.

It's not even a comparison for me because they are different types of players and they are the best at whatever they do.

The sickening part is how an Arsenal forum seems so infested with it, or how some Arsenal fans celebrate Real winning the UCL like Arsenal won it.

Oh quit yer cryin and get over it, I watch Madrid every week and Ronaldo is my favourite player so gonna celebrate anything he does well.

Amazing that he's so good, Madrid had him for his whole peak and still made a profit on the once most expensive player in the world :hail:

I read it was more about the money than this so called challenge. Apparently Madrid didn't want to pay him want he wanted on his next contract cause he's not getting any younger, which is understandable.

Wish he moved to Bayern or PSG. Serie A had some sort of competition in past 2 seasons, now it's going to be worse again.

What challenge was left for him at RM? He is their highest ever scorer and won 3 CLs in a row. His goal record won't be topped for 15-20 years minimum.

He went for the challenge.

He wanted to get paid like the best player in the world and they didn't want to. So maybe not about the bank account, but the acknowledgement of being one of the best.
