There is only one person to blame for his leaving. And that's him. Dont make excuses for people just because you dislike Wenger.

Don't give a f**k what 2 bints think and say. Wenger cos of penny pinching didn't do enough to keep rvp.

I don't blame rvp for leaving. Never have. That's all on Wenger. What I blame him for is the club he chose when he could've gone anywhere else which shows he didn't give a f**k about the fans.

if wenger just bought a quality striker after rvp leaving we wouldnt even be posting here.

wenger is at fault for rvp leaving and hes at fault for our failed transfer dealings.

but some rather take it out on rvp i guess.

Looking back, I don't think our fortunes would have been any different had he not left. He had 1.5 good seasons left and he spent them at Utd. He scraped us through to CL in 2011/12,and at best he would have done the same thing the year.

Regardless of the circumstances around his departure, he was never going to win us a title on his own. I only wish we could have sold him to PSG in 2012 and bought Zlatan from Barca; PSG bought him for EUR 20 million only. How different the past 4 years could have been for Arsenal.

We would have won the league in 13/14. Can you imagine Ozil playing behind RVP? Absolute carnage.

It's also important to remember RVP only started to drop off after Ferguson left and United brought in Moyes and his shit-show; he wouldn't have gone through that same transition period here.

Wenger could have gotten at least two more top class seasons out of RVP - he'd be used to our style and the players around him.

Fell out with every manager he ever had - van Marwijk, Wenger, Moyes, van Gaal, Vitor Pereira. The only one he ended on a good note was Fergie and that's cause Fergie left a season after he bought him.

He sold his soul to the devil he wont be a legend at any club he played. I can understand him tho, he knew Wenger won't make the signings to win EPL so he would waste his rest of his career. Wenger really shit the bed by losing both Cesc and Nasri and couldn't replace them till he got Santi and Özil

I love this guy.

Probably my favourite player ever, he had the most aesthetically pleasing technique.
