Park was never going to play. No issue with his leaving but why did we sign him and why didn't we use him that's important. I thought he might do job for us as I liked him in Monaco and South Korea. Wasn't going to be a world beater but surely could have been better than Sanogo and Bendtner.

On a positive note, Liverpools signing might be falling through.

Podolski no good up front.
Walcott injured (and not tested up front against good opposition tbf).
Park - the legend - is now off.
Sanogo doesn't exist.
Afobe out on loan.
Bendtner is.... Bendtner.

..... BRING BACK EDUARDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hiding:

Giroud
(Klose)
(Bendtner)

or

Klose
(Giroud)
(Bendtner)

depending on form

Would already have been satisfied with this. At 35 still one of the best finishers in the game, always in the right place at the right time, disciplined, hard worker, capable of leading the line on his own. He links up fantastically well with Podolski according to SG and has played dozens of games in the past with Özil behind him. I really think that - despite his age- he could have been the optimal short-term signing for us, one that would vastly increase our chances of winning silverware this season.
