Bayern Munich batter Man City away from home.

Schalke and Bayern beat us last year, Dortmund beat us this year,

City beat Munich away and we beat Munich and Dortmund away. My point was, Utd are struggling this season but stil managed to beat the 2nd placed team in the BL home and away.

Leverkusen are like Man City last season in the champions league, naive and not used to playing vs an established team who know the ropes.

Much like how in our dreadful 2011/12 season we beat all conquering Dortmund.

F*ck that shit!
Would kill to have Fabregas back, or a striker on Henry's level. And maybe Ronaldo, Modric, Alonso and Monkey Boy grab headlines weekly, but competitiveness of this level in such a big league is unheard of. Forget the awards, I'd rather watch watch a Prem game any day of the week.

This used to happen even when the premiership was a retirement shithole back in the mid 90's. 1994/95 season we where 13th and about 5 points off the drop going into April.

I am with Schland on the arrogance point. In Australia on you basic TV package, you cannot watch Bundersliga, or even La Liga, it's all premiership. The premiership is the most shown league in the world. it is easily the best marketed league in the world so it's got a bigger scope to market it as the best. If people watched more Bundersliga and La Liga people wouldn't be so sure that the league is the best.

You get La Liga on ESPN, which comes with the same package you get Fox Sports on (EPL channel).

I dunno, it rarely showed up on the schedule when i checked usually after the 5:30 game Sunday morning or the 4pm game Monday morning?

My point was everywhere in the world no league is promoted like the Premier League.

Germany has to be the better league from the fans point of view. Cheap tickets, great atmosphere, standing if you want it, and now good football as well.

Premier league games are much more entertaining though IMO.

premier league is easily a better league than any other spanish league is second with bundesliga 3rd.

The bundesliga is highly overrated dortmund like most other german sides will be raped and pillaged until all their talent has left. Bayern are the only team in germany that can compete financially with europes giants. in 2 years dortmund will have fallen to the level of mediocrity of teams like stuttgart hamburg and schalke.

Schalke are already a garbage team, one of the worst footballing sides i have seen this year it is honestly a pain to watch them their football is no better than pulis' stoke.

La liga is a decent league if you only look at the top 3. Other than that the rest of the teams range from painfully mediocre to complete gutter garbage trash. What la liga is though is a good feeder league to the premiership you can find the occasional jewel amongst all the trash (most likely a failed youth product from the top 3 cesc, silva torres, santi, arteta mata etc) but you better pick wisely some of the best garbage imitating players to have graced this league have descended from la liga (del horno, morientes, forlan, deco belletti)

The premier league is the only league that has a good standard of team that courses throughout the league, most la liga clubs and bundesliga clubs would get relegated in the premier league

Find it difficult to disagree with this now. They are in a race for a CL spot this season ffs. Lewa is leaving in the summer and Reus' buyout clause will be met (hopefully by us)

Their injury curse this season is really unbelivable and challenging for them but they are still on a CL spot a lot of teams would find themselfs out of the Top6 in this situation. TBH Lewa is shit this season and his convertion rate is on Girouds level. They wouldn't struggle that much with the Lewa from last season they have plenty of chances in nearly every match but sadly a wasteful striker. Reus buyout clause starts in 2015 according to german press so I don't see a problem here atm and they don't need to sell players anymore unlike the seasons before (50m€ profit last season !). Even without Lewa the squad is full of really good mostly U26 players and nearly all of them have long term contracts plus they have some at least decent youngsters in their squad (Sarr, Hofmann aso) and some young players (like Bittencourt) they sold lately have a buy back clause. Their future doesn't look that bad imo.

Holy shit, if we got Draxler and Reus...

Giroud
Reus Ozil Draxler

Wouldn't even matter that we have Giroud up front... we could stick Fabianski up top and we'd still shit goals.

We won't need both, especially as both prefer playing on the left.

Sure, but you can't deny they are slipping and once Reus does leave they'll have no world class players; only a year away. You can't deny they are slipping; and subsequently the Bundesliga is becoming a league with one good team.

Not really you end up with thousands of flicks aso. but nobody in the offensive who really can score from open play.
Look at the german team how awful we play around the penalty box nowadays with these players on the pitch we didn't even destroy Faroe Islands anymore.
