Haven't seen much of Gerrard this season... is he playing that deep? If not, I'd go Barry.

He's injured atm so they're playing Gerrard deep-lying and Henderson as B2B. Rodgers recently said he wants to eventually play Gerrard as a CB too IIRC.

Welbeck drags it down by some distance.

Id like to see lallana given more games, think hes quality.

When fully fit we could have Theo on the right, Wilshere CM & Chambo left. That's a quality team imo

Not bad but not good enough to be one of the best either. You're in group of death imo, you might fail there. 2nd round is easy, other than Colombia but they don't have Falcao anymore. You're likely done in QF where you're going to play with one of Brazil and Spain, if not Netherlands, Crotia, Chile or Mexico. I think it's fair, I rank you guys in somewhere between 5-8.

So, while we're at it, how far would the major teams reach--as in the KO stages, or QFs, or semis, or the final? Here are the groups again:

Group A: Brazil, Cameroon, Mexico, Croatia
Group B: Spain, Chile, Australia, Netherlands
Group C: Colombia, Cote D'Ivoire, Japan, Greece
Group D: Uruguay, Italy, Costa Rica, England
Group E: Switzerland, Ecuador, Honduras, France
Group F: Argentina, Nigeria, Iran, Bosnia-Herzegovina
Group G: Germany, Ghana, USA, Portugal
Group H: Belgium, Algeria, South Korea, Russia

Your predictions for:

- Brazil
- Mexico
- Spain
- Netherlands
- Cote D'Ivoire
- Uruguay
- Italy
- England
- France
- Argentina
- Germany
- Portugal
- Belgium

I'd probably have Welbeck #9 over Sturridge for England. He's got a good record for England and suits their system more IMO.

Plus after his performance against Germany, sturrage is a disgrace compared to Welbeck.

Little option on the left though. Wish Theo was fit.

We'll get out of the group imo
