Read some of what AW had to say about Serge about his loans out,how he lost confidence I guess he found a manager that has re built that confidence, good talent making good

I think most of us were dismayed when Wenger let him walk. If ever there was a sure thing it was Gnabry.

Sending him out on loan with overweight to a Pulis-managed side is one of the worst decisions Arsenal has made during the Emirates era.

Not his fault, but he was plagued with injuries during his time in England. He was even injured when he was loaned to West Brom; Pulis wrote him off as not ready for English football. Low apparently wanted him as part of the 2014 WC squad but he was injured then as well.

He was sort of match fit at the start of 2016/17, but he was never going to get any game time ahead of Alexis Sanchez.
