The players for the future thread

Post here your views and/or videos of talented young players. (Maximum age: 20)

I'll start off with Youri Tielemans.
Position: central midfield
Height: 5'10''
Birth year: 1997

When Tielemans made his debut for Anderlecht a few weeks ago - after having only just turned 16 - his performance was jaw-dropping. His confidence on the ball at such young age reminds me a bit of a 18-19 year old Dembélé but what makes him so special (to me) is not only his vision to spot a pass but also his ability to execute that pass, regardless what the range is. People lately have been talking about Zelalem, Januzaj, Bakkali etc but this kid is in a different stratosphere.

Anderlecht were hopeless in that game, he was carrying the entire team on his debut at the age of sixteen that day. They were facing Lokeren, quality wise they [Lokeren] are currently more or less the equivalent of clubs like Forest or Middlesbrough, but with a tighter budget, just to give you an idea.

After this game, every other game he's played he was just as influencial but I opted to pick this game not only because it was his debut-game but also because he pretty much carried the team as if he had 5+ years of professional football under his belt. The Dutch commentator was losing his marbles a bit, hehe.

Anyway, here are the highlights of the game I was talking about:

Best parts:
0:40-1:00
2:05-2:16
2:27-3:10
3:20-3:40
3:50-4:00

All Belgium needs is for their talents to become certified world class now. so many just on the fringe apart from Kompany really.

They need to break this barrier of having certified world beaters. Hazard isn't far off, the rest are very good talents, there now massive depth in Belgium. 3-4 like with Holland with Judas, Sniejder and Robben need to become certified world beaters.

They all seem to be very similar though. We aren't getting truly special talents who are unique, we aren't seeing a new 'Zidane' or new 'Rivaldo' new 'Ronaldo'.

We seem to be getting a lot of players who play like Hazard, these 'in the hole agile technicians'.

Timo Horn (20) Goalkeeper from 1.FC Cologne/Köln (2.Bundesliga) he is the youngest Nr. 1 in any german professional football team atm and Nr.2 in the german U21 team behind Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.
Doesn't make many mistakes besides his epic fail at the start of this season against Dynamo Dresden but looks promosing and Cologne is well-known as talent pool for great goalkeeper.
http://www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodo_Illgner
http://www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harald_Schumacher

Of course needs some improvement and experience.
Also in one of his interviews he said he would love to play abroad later especially for Arsenal or Barca.

GK Simon Mignolet - Very good keeper
GK Thibaut Courtois - Elite Young keeper
GK Koen Casteels - Never heard of him

2 DF Toby Alderweireld - Average
4 DF Vincent Kompany - Only World Class player here, not as good as he was, off form but argubly the worlds best when on form.
5 DF Daniel Van Buyten - Crap, Like Titus Bramble, all physique no brain
DF Nicolas Lombaerts - Average
13 DF Laurent Ciman - Average
15 DF Sébastien Pocognoli - Avergae/Solid
23 DF Guillaume Gillet - Very average
18 DF Jelle Van Damme - Crap, Wolves reject
3 DF Jan Vertonghen - Very good, better at attacking that defending :dizzy:

6 MF Axel Witsel - Good player, forward thinking, holds in the middle of the park well.
7 MF Kevin De Bruyne - Talented, interesting future ahead of him.
8 MF Marouane Fellaini - Very Effective player, overrated though.
10 MF Eden Hazard - Highly taleted player, could well become world class in a year or so.
16 MF Steven Defour - Bit like Ramsey, good player, tireless, good all round.
19 MF Mousa Dembélé - very good player, hit his peak though, not quite 'special' but pretty good.
21 MF Nacer Chadli - typical talented 'in the hole' player with suspect end product.
17 MF Timmy Simons - old reliable, vastly experienced workhorse.

9 FW Romelu Lukaku - Never been a fan, like Fellani, effective, he hit puberty early, big strong striker really, can cause anyone trouble but lacks technique to ensure quality consistently
11 FW Kevin Mirallas - very skillful player, interesting to see if he wants to become a striker or stick to playing on the wings or in the hole.
14 FW Dries Mertens - very VERY skillful player, bit of an ego, interesting to see him in a top league with Napoli
20 FW Christian Benteke - Same as Lukaku with a little more technique, better than Lukaku but again won't ensure quality against the very top teams.
FW Zakaria Bakkali - Talented youngster with no fear.

For Belgium to be a genuine force to win possibly the Euros in 2016 they need a few of these to become world class. The have a lot of players coming through, its the mentality now and that desire as a nation to succeed. This is something i spoke to Zenith about. Belgium have had talent or a long time, but have lacked that desire and passion to represent their nation.

World Cup i think is too soon for them to do anything worth of note. Quarter final/Semi Final would be fantastic, Decent show in the Group stage or Second round acceptable.

Okay it was a sitter but the kid scored against Galatasaray. 16 years 3 months 15 days, youngest goalscorer ever in Turkish League.

Last year Chelsea, Borussia Mönchengladbach and some other German teams chased him.

Against England U16:

Previous youngest goalscorer was a bust, so was his team Bursaspor's previous top young striker talent. Hopefully this kid can be different.

Will Hughes. Don't think people realise how good that kid is.
Eric Dier
Luke Shaw
James Ward-Prowse
Isaiah Brown
Ashley Smith-Brown

Just a few English lads who I think will go on to do quite well.
