No more Willian then, guess he's off to United for Martial.

Bit weird why they would give Higuain to a rival on loan

Serie A needs a good TV deal to get back to its heyday.

All providing there is truth to the latest rumors, that is.

From what I've been reading online, most people are being levelheaded about the possibility of Hazard turning into an elite goalscorer. As long as he continues to be an elite dribbler who constantly gets into dangerous areas, he'll be well-received by the notorious Bernabeu crowd.

If anything, Bale's goal tally should increase since he'll be given free rein without Ronaldo; should Bale remain healthy, I wouldn't bet against a 40 goal season. Because of his injuries, it seems like a lot of people forget he's a top 5 attacking player.

Hazard would be the second Belgian player at Real, right?

Just saw this.

Yes, the first Belgian player to represent Los Blancos was Fernand Goyvaerts; a self-willed, flamboyant wide player who'd regularly pull off the trick what would later be known as the elástico, as well as various other skills most football fans in Spain had never seen before.

After having won the award for best foreign player in the Primera División, he transferred from Barcelona to Real Madrid where he would become teammates of Gento, Santamaria, Puskas, etc.

Most domestic managers used to despise him because he was so stubborn and opinionated.

It's also the sole reason he only earned a handful of caps for the national team.

Later on, Goyvaerts admitted that he felt more appreciated abroad where managers would usually acknowledge they ought to give him a free role to get the best out of him.

Unfortunately multiple long-term injuries kept El Rubio Belga out of action for the majority of his two-year stay at the club.

He died in 2004 aged 65 from a cerebral hemorrhage; a second ICH within a span of 9 months.

Anderlecht just signed English center back James Lawrence from Slovakian club Trencin. A late bloomer who spent a couple of years in the Arsenal Academy. Aged 26, he's yet to make his 100th league appearance at club level.
