Would rather get a CM.

You want a CM. I want a Partey. I think we can work this out.

Daily Mail, so don't take this article as gospel.

Juventus put Aaron Ramsey up for sale just a year after signing him from Arsenal as they try to cut costs on his £400,000 per week wages... with Manchester United potential suitors for him

• Ramsey could be one of victims of Covid-19's impact on finances at Juventus
• Italian champions have an increasingly urgent need to cut their wage bill
• Wales midfielder earns £400,000-a-week and Juve are open to selling him
• That's despite Ramsey only moving to Turin from Arsenal last summer
• Two English clubs have been alerted to Ramsey's availability during past week
• Ramsey has struggled with injuries and hasn't made much impression at Juve
• Here’s how to help people impacted by Covid-19

TAaron Ramsey could be one of the first victims of football's COVID-19 recession after it emerged that Juventus are open to selling the Wales star.

With football clubs across Europe having to look at their finances in a different light ahead of months of playing without fans, Juventus have an increasingly urgent need to cut their vast wage bill.

Sportsmail has learned that two top English clubs have been alerted to Ramsey's availability this week ahead of the summer transfer window that is expected to open at the back end of next month.

The 29-year-old only moved to Juventus last July after running down his contract at Arsenal.

But despite scoring on his last two Serie A starts before the Italian season went in to lockdown in March, he has struggled with injuries and has not become as fundamental to Maurizio Sarri's team as he would have hoped.

With Ramsey only starting nine league games this season, Juventus have still managed to top the table as they seek their ninth successive title.

One problem for Juventus is Ramsey's huge wage. Having arrived on a free transfer the midfielder has a contract until the summer of 2023 that pays him an astonishing £400,000 a week. This could prove prohibitive as the club look to move him on.

In England, clubs such as Manchester United would definitely have an interest but not at that salary.

That means Ramsey would either have to take a cut or move somewhere on loan with Juventus continuing to pay at least some of his salary.

Speculation about Ramsey's future first surfaced in Italy at the back end of the winter and was not exactly dampened down by former Chelsea manager Sarri.

The Juve coach said: 'It was not easy for him to adapt, coming from the Premier and from a bad injury. He is growing both in condition and in belief.'

The Italian league season resumes next weekend with Juventus a point ahead of Lazio. The leaders' first Serie A game is at Bologna on Monday June 22.

I believe it. They cut Emre Can loose 18 months after signing him. Sent Higuain on loan to Milan 12 months after breaking the Serie A record to sign him.

He should have joined PSG if it were feasible. He'd have scored buckets in that league. He's never been a great player, or a technical wizard. He was hot and cold. It's unfortunate what could have been if not for that horrific injury.

It doesn't help that he can only perform well in a 3-man midfield that consists of a great passer and a complete CM or tactical DM.

But yeah.. I doubt he's leaving Juve this summer.

I like the lad. He's a class player and one of the best in the Emirates era. But now i agree we need to move on. We know he can be injury prone, 30 years old in Dec and the wages are far too high for us. Keep the money for Partey, a solid Center Back and a Creative mid pls.

Time he came home. We should have a clap for him every week for supporting the front line.
