What identity was that? One of a club with all young, inexperienced, injury-prone players or the Barca feeder club identity? We definitely aren't better off with Ramsey leaving, but I don't know where you were going with your comment.

Home grown, mate, home grown.

Ramsey graduated from Cardiff's academy, not ours. He was already playing senior football for them before we came in.

Maybe he just meant cause he's British.

However, we only had a British core for a short period. Before that people were blaming Arsenal for the English national teams lack of youth development because we had too many foreign players. :dizzy:

Don't let teh Welsh let them hear you call him British... :-)

Ah well, I'm sure they've called me a septic before, so we're even.

What happened to our Welsh members, haven't seen them lately? Will they join the Juventus forum next season?

I consider Cesc, Ramsey, Walcott all home grown even though they came from other academies because the joined us as teenagers and really made their name and careers with us. Ramsey leaving signals the end of the Wenger era in my opinion.

Have to appreciate the way he's ended his career here.

Going out fighting and overly helping us to get where we are today, one of the best finishes to an Arsenal career I've ever seen.

Not always been his biggest fan but he's proven himself, shame he's not staying but we have to "thank" Wenger and Gazidis for their policy of letting players run down their contracts for that.

If any player see's he'll be getting offered £100 -£200k more pw elsewhere in as little as 12 months who's going to turn that down?

They never learned their lesson which is why those fkers are gone, thankfully the new regime seem to have made this glaring area a priority so fix.

Anyway, well done Ramsey, he'll have fun playing with Ronaldo I'm sure.

Aaron did the right thing like RVP back in 2012.

Wish him the best for his future at Juventus.

They're interviewing him on Sky now and he is in pieces again.

He really loves Arsenal. Shame it's going to end like this.

What a state.
