Some people will experience withdrawal syndrome once Ozil leaves.

Erm , let me think.....his Management team, Housekeeper, Chauffeur, Gardener, Cleaner etc.

Unfortunately, virtually every fan I know (apart from you and HH) experienced withdrawal syndrome, when his ability left him a few years back!

Any player can be overrated, even CR7 (not that he is). Rating a player is just how you personally view them and how good they are. If the majority of people give a player high praise, and then someone comes along and doesn't think that high praise is deserved, then to that person they would be overrated. No need to compare them to anyone else really.

Ozil is overrated too btw.

I bring up Ozil because "overrated" is a relative term, and needs to have some frame of reference; overrated compared to what?

This thread is ~450 pages. I guarantee you that there are > 500 pages in the Ozil thread talking about the optimal tactics and squad set up he needs to even reach Ramsey-level numbers.

All of which are pointless to this conversation. But please carry on with your Ozil obsession.

Ramsey was with us for 11 years.
He had 2 world class seasons imo, but due to injury and also poor form, did little in the majority of his time at Arsenal.
He certainly made some moments (FA Cup) that we can remember him by, but overall a major underachiever for us.
Tht said, we should have sold him and got some money instead of letting him walk away.

Oh please.

I know it's unique in these corners to like/support players of the club you love, to be a fan, to enjoy someone's game. I know. Shock horror.

If you seriously believe that most people, except a vocal few, aren't sick and wobbly over this Ozil discussion, you're living in cinema paradiso.

The sensible ones don't care whether Ozil stays or goes any longer. As I've oh-so-beautifully elucidated before, there is nothing to add to the Ozil discussion. It's over. Done. Dusted.

Except for a select few who can't stop hurling abuses at the man.

Ozil will go. Trust me. Wenger went, no?

That bright day will come.

And glory years shall dawn at Arsenal again.

In the interim, enjoy your peach iced tea.

We should care if ozil goes, he is holding back the team offensively, in terms of progression it's important he gets of the wage bill.

So we release Ramsey for free and pay some £25m a year later to re-sign him on top of paying £250k in wages?

Sounds like #JustArsenalThings.

Next please.

He’s actually got a contract until 2023 at £400k a week. Only made 12 appearances so far this season due to injury!

Remind you of anyone?
