I miss and love Ramsey

Postby FARM » Tue Oct 01, 2019 12:58 am

I always liked Ramsey, he was a very solid player for us over the years and has won us the only trophies we have managed to obtain in the baron spell, always getting the vital goals and vital assists. When we really look back at the last 14 shitty years, the only high moments and happy moments he was always at the center of.

When he went I was sad but I thought we will move on and he can be replaced. But I must say not seeing him anymore in our team makes me sad, its made me sadder than I thought. I feel we miss him, he was a unique player, box too box but he actually was amazing at being in the right place at the right time inside the box.

These first 2 months of the season I keep feeling something is missing, and I now have realized its him that I am missing... I think he is a big loss for us, bigger than we think, its not only about his work rate and goals + assists, its his actual heart and energy, we miss it. Ramsey is one of the fittest players ever in the premiership, his cardio is unique and beyond most, his fitness levels are insane.. he can run box too box without need of oxygen. Miss ya Rambo :( :( :( :crybaby: :crybaby:

He has looked excellent so far for Juventus. I wish we had signed him up before his contract ran down. Gazidis ya bald egg.

The term legend is used too much these days but not with this guy. How he is missed

Personally wouldn't call him a legend, very impressed with his Italian though.

LEGEND.... hmm....i get it, sorta... hard for me to say legend when we routinely got bounced from CL in shameful fashion... but yeah, he scored 2 game winners for FA cups... definite peak moments those.

and yet the guy who gave the 2 brilliant assists, had the vision, and also dispatched us from last years EL final, gets shat upon...

that i dont get, at all

How he is missed.

Should've broke the bank to keep him and made him captain.

Not really. Giroud had Wenger starting him every week even during his 15 game dry run in 15/16. He simply had a better fitness record than Theo and Welbz and played many more minutes. His only real competition in Laca came 4 months before he moved to Chelsea.

Ramsey OTOH had plenty of competition w Ox, Cazorla, Ozil and Wilshere. He wasn't the most talented player but he was a great bridge between defense and attack and a good finisher when it counted. That's what we need now.

Giroud can't even get game time ahead of Tammy Abraham and Batshuayi. Even with chokers like Higuain and Morata, Sarri wouldn't give him minutes.

We chose Ozil over him by giving Ozil so much.

If we had competent directors we should of given Ozil 200k and Ramsey 150/175k but we didn't have competent directors back then, i don't we have competent director right now either.
