Wonderful day of football coming up Sunday.

Women's World Cup Final: USA - Netherlands in the morning
Copa America Final: Brazil - Peru in the afternoon
Gold Cup Final: USA - Mexico in the evening

Can't wait for USA vs Mexico. The last time we played them in a non-WC qualifiers competitive match was the 2011 Gold Cup Final. How long ago was that? Freddie Adu started...

With the WWC out of the way, time for a USA-Mexico showdown later today.

One striker who can finish. Literally one finisher and the game would've been over in the first 30 minutes. But Mexico did well to bury their chance in the second half and punished us for what we couldn't do in the first. Tata once again outcoached GGG.

Things I learned over the past year:
•Drop literally everyone who is currently older than 26. Bring a squad that's majority under 24 to Qatar in 2022 to get them ready for 2026.
•Berhalter needs to be fired yesterday. Get someone who has experience in Europe or South America and stop hiring career MLS coaches until the league improves tactically.
•Stop this majority MLS nonsense. I'm fine with sprinkling in some MLS players, but our team should be composed mostly of players who play in Europe.
•With Reggie Cannon stepping up, at least we have RB depth with him and Yedlin. Not world beaters, but solid enough to not cause despair.

Also @Ang, if you don't like CONMEBOL refs, then I invite you to try CONCACAF refs. I don't know what's worse: corruption or incompetence.

US men couldn't even score against a 2nd string Mexico team. It's like we're getting worse. :(

UCL and EL might be held in the summer, if all goes well.

Eff that. Scrap this year's CL and start anew next season. Can't risk Zidane's record of never getting knocked out of the competition as a coach.

It's amazing how Real avoided Barca completely during their trifecta run. And now that Zidane's about to lose, COVID-19 strikes.
