Too much pressure on attacking players?

Possible long term side effects of Covid

Didn't Auba have malaria within the past year too?

Hope the guy doesn't have any long-term health issues.

The guy just can't get things right - goes out to party and catches Covid which results in health complications and he ends up letting his national team down because of it. He just doesn't seem to think about consequences.
Somebody needs to set him straight, but it's hard to get through to multi millionaires I guess.

Wish him a speedy recovery but that kinda rules out anyone buying him.

Take this and run!

32 years old. Past it. Gets his wages off the books.

Do it!

Who pays his wages though? I never can work that out.

His article suggests they will.

That will be good.

Yup he has been a good player for the club but he would be better moving on if he does I wish him well, his goals were crucial for us.

Agreed.

Unfortunately he doesn't really have a role in Arteta's lone target man CF system so no point in dragging it out.

Could still feature on the LW but it looks like too much damage has been done with the Arteta and the captaincy.

Shame it had to end like this, don't think he deserved it.

Yeah, I'd like this to be over without an Ozil-length saga. It still feels crazy to me that a guy who racked up 90 goals in 3.5 seasons, mostly played with no midfield, could fall off like this.

I think its all down to Arteta;'s abysmal decisions, its a loss of form that you don't expect from a player of his calibre, he should've been able to come back from it though, but with some of the chances he missed they can't be ignored.

I'm not going to shit on him, he came here and did his thing under 2 f***ing imbecile managers, but now his time is up. Good luck for the future.
