Max.

I'm sure he was still offside but in that pic it looks like the ball has yet to arrive at the player who will play the ball through. Is there any chance this pic makes it look worse and it was a bit closer once the ball was played?

About 6:12 into the video, penalty for me.

If he had kept his hands down by his side the ball would have hit his face.
if he had moved his head, the ball would have been crossed into the box.
He chose to move his hands to protect his face and the ball hit his hands.
Penalty.

Flog away!!!

Our penalty vs Fulham was a very harsh one! The guys arm was moving backwards when the balll hit it IMO. Ball to hand. No penalty.

Ball to hand! Going by the rules, its not a pen which is partially what ive been trying to get at since this started.

Regarding the movement of his hands to his face, id consider that a natural reaction as ive previously mentioned and i dont think the distance and power of the shot would have given him enough time to think about it, he just protected his face as is a natural eaction to something coming towards your face.

Are you really that thick???

:BangHead: :BangHead:

AFAICS, you're the only person here who thinks Cazorlas hand ball wasn't a a peno. Good luck to you
I didn't hijack the thread - you did. you said it wasnt a penalty. I disabused you of that fallacy.

As for the Fulham match, well again, I didn't think it was a peno. You did. Good luck.

Thick? Im not the one thats pretty much got 90% of their post completely wrong lol

Hijack - When did i accuse you of hijacking the thread? Did i even mention your name regarding hijacking? The only reason why i included our conversation in this thread because, you guessed it, we were having the debate. Chill out man. If you dont like people challenging your opinions, then the internet is defo not the place for you bro.

The whole reason this started is because i said that the media should be focusing on dodgy calls including a questionable penalty and a non sending off in the game, instead of speculating if there was a massive rift between AW and SB and you went off on one regarding the state of the club and if the pen was a pen or not and that anything refs do is the letter of the law etc. forgetting to address the original point.

The Fulham penalty - loooool now your just making stuff up, when the hell did i say that was a penalty? I actually said that it could only be a penalty if we were going by your definition of a penalty, so dont even try it.

What game was the Cazorla one in?

I'll post this really, really close debatable offside decision from the Middlesbrough game the other night, the goal stood.

Image

The guy jumping knocks it down for the guy that is clearly onside.

The caz one was from the manure game...

Re that image. Well trolled Lino, well trolled. I bet someone got booked for protesting that as well afterwards.

Don't think so but the next dodgy call made Bikey go nuts and nudged Madine in the process, who didn't do much in return as it was Bikey.

I'll try and find a video, it was still offside but I get what you're saying. The guy chested it onto the other guy and all I can think is maybe the linesman doesn't realise the guy who chested it actually touched it, as there is no way he can know there was a touch and not give offside. I mean the guy an see the adboards on the other side of the pitch in the gap quite easily. lmao

EDIT: Seeing it again, no way he didn't know there was a touch.

Just going by that picture, the guy offside doesn't seem to be making an effort to get back onside and the defence will have pushed up a little more so if anything he'd have been even more offside when his teammate knocks it on

Nice one, I'll save that link for future reference. Still no pen for me, it's even more point blank than I remember and it cazs reaction was perfectly natural in that split second imo. Ive seen those ones not given loads of times..
