Respect for Alves for the way he handled it. :hail:

This is funny and sad for me. I was with a catalan girl for along long time b4.
Never could understand why she was so racist....... especially towards black people.
To say I regularly lambasted her for it and tried to change her is an understatement.
I was actually pretty shocked to find out this was such a problem over there.

Met her family and they were all the same, i said the same thing to them.
Did not go down to well, Racism is a massive massive problem in Spain and throughout all people in there culture thats the scary thing, from doctors to streetsweepers. an absolute disgrace :X

Fair play to Alves, LFP will not be happy with players eating Bananas thrown from fans as it could be really dangerous.
Should put an end to it. Disgraceful scenes.

John Terry is still getting starts.

This campaign failed miserably. The only person who can keep their head held high is abou diaby, because at least he put some real effort into it.

Just watched those Neanderthal morons of chel***.. I find it terribly sad, all the more so knowing such backward shithouses are allowed to breed...
Honestly though, are we surprised?? The ghastly, uneducated thug with retarded/racist tendencies who chel*** saw fit to make captain of this ghastly, cretinous club, epitomises the most abhorrent aspects of this embarrassing stain on football.... Reflected by the half wits who idolise him.

Utterly disgusting yes
Surprising, sadly not. :-(

slavic countries are not multi-racial, so racism is not a problem there because one can not be racist against someone who is not there. i dont know why you chose croats as an example since Eduardo was a fan favourite there.

Don't agree with that. My ex was croatian and I've been to Zagreb few times. You obviously stand out a lot and get stares everywhere but it's more like the curious kind coz the locals don't come across our kind other than in tv.

So you're saying there has never been a white player, play there? And never been racially abused?

Yeah, so, why do the Croatian clubs and national team recieve so many fines from UEFA / FIFA ??

AFAIK, it's mostly about racism...

Probs because when they do face a team with black players it's something different and stirs up those negative feelings
