Just saw fans being interviewed on the news

They could barely talk. Barely string a sentence together. What can you say I spose?

Can you imagine how our DB10 is handling this mentally. His biggest fear actually happened.

Great to see how the Football World is Supporting the Club.

Chartered plane. Team on their way to the biggest match in the club's history

Don't ask me what exactly but something isn't right about this.

Baseless IMO. Who stands to gain from this?

Heard the news, was obviously gutted. Started thinking about it after catching up with the news and really started thinking about how they must feel.

How i would feel if this happened to our lads that we follow week in week out. I really hope the authorities can do the right thing and not stand in the way of any compassionate acts that seem to be streaming into the club right now.

Off the top of my head, maybe a protection racket or some other form of organised crime involving extortion or gambling syndicates

Latest reports say lack of fuel most likely cause, absolutely dreadful how can something like that happen, no reason would ever make it better but that sounds like a complete cock up which has cost so many lives :(

Also don't get why the plane did circles if out of fuel, surely emergency landing was possible somewhere :(

The plane had stopped for refuelling prior to the crash so how the f**k did that happen?

The ground crew can see how much they put in, and also their experience in the job would tell them how long it would take for the required amount of fuel to flow.

And separately, the pilots can also see how much is in their tanks.

That rules out instrument failure

So did they miscalculate how much they would need for the flight and order the wrong amount from the airport refueling staff?

Because South America is probably the least health and safety concerning area on the planet alongside the Eastern Bloc

Chartered airline, probably being tight, still sounds ridiculous.

Im a bit of an air accident investigation anorak to be honest and I enjoy watching those shows

The amount of times you see this shit about fuel is totally ridiculous. Airlines like to use as little as possible because you're not only paying for the fuel, but also the fuel to carry the fuel... So carrying less saves a lot of money.

Not jumping to conclusions regarding this incident though.

The more news that comes out the more angry I'm getting, seems like multiple human errors have caused it :(

Pilot shouldn't be allowed to make a call re the fuel, should be a standard, regulated process which is strictly adhered to.

Its outrageous. You're leaving the decision over how much fuel should be carried to the people who have to pay for the fuel. (The airline)

f**k that, they clearly can't be trusted.

It should be compulsory for planes to fly with extra fuel. Leave it to independent experts to work out how much extra but the rules must be stricter.
