Minute silence at both League cup games tonight

A tragedy

Including yourself, I won't bother quoting the posts but looks like you should listen to your own advice as well.

Yep, not sure about the exempt from relegation thing unless it's meant for next year, they're safe for this year already, 9th in the table. Teams offering to loan them players for free was a nice touch though and I hope at least some of the donations goes to the players families, 40m from PSG is incredible.

Edit - looks like the relegation thing is for 3 years they are proposing.

the 40m thing from psg is false unfortunately

benfica say they will help in terms of players too apparently

Oh really? :( Did seem a lot, hopefully they will give something at least. Top clubs like ours and especially the likes of Madrid, Barca, City, PSG, Chelsea, United should all be offering aid in whatever form. Don't leave it just to poor Brazilian clubs, we already take all their good players at young ages.

Chartered plane. Team on their way to the biggest match in the club's history

Don't ask me what exactly but something isn't right about this.

Conference calls between top flight European managers first thing tomorrow please and let's send this club a new team on loan free of charge asap

I would be very proud if Arsenal sent a player.

don't know the logistics of the brazilian league and the fa rules & strictness of work permits etc but i think they'll have more than enough players and clubs lining up wanting to play for them, probably better than we can offer

I have a funny feeling that whatever rules there are will be paid lip service at the most

Nobody would want to be seen getting in the way of an international effort like this, least of all the Brazilian authorities and certainly not any national football association.

the english fa stopped di stefano joining united after munich

i know that was yonks ago but i think the brazilian sides themselves and perhaps Chape would prefer natives to help reconstruct their club

I see where you're coming from and I have seen a few 'theories' on Twitter today but I honestly think it was just one big tragic accident.

RIP :(

I hope the survivors manage to get back on their feet and not get dragged down by survivor's guilt.
