It’s all pointing towards him being the good guy though, pointing out he gave up money to leave and blaming his performances on being unhappy.

I’m sure something went wrong and that contributed but let’s be real, he was completely shit apart from the Fulham game and didn’t even look like he cared. Only he can ultimately be blamed for that, despite whatever happened in the background, so I don’t feel sorry for him but I’m glad he left early.

He even got favourable treatment from Mikel both in playing time and his Dubai trip so not really sure what was so bad after 3 months.

There is a bright side. He pissed off early. It doesn’t excuse the performances but I'll take his word for it otherwise he may have stuck around if he were happy here.

That is something we need to learn from .
Never sign anyone from Chelsea - you actually have to prove you are a total c*** to play there. it's part of the scouting.
