Will this be a smart move from Ajax?

This would be fantastic

United lose one of the top 3 keepers in the prem by losing de dea and we sign one of the top 3 in cech then we flog the average Szczesny to Ajax when United purchase the average Cillessen.

According to Di Marzio, Roma are lining up for Szczesny.

Crap decision, but I hope we get a good transfer fee atleast to invest in positions we need.

Sad to see him go if this is true, I think he has a higher ceiling than Ospina but with Cech here now I'm not too upset that we're losing him.

By the sounds of it it's going to be a two year loan spell.

Aye, just seen that. Would be a good move for us actually. If he kills it in Rome perhaps he can still have a future with us.

Just sell him permanently and be done with it.

He's been first choice for 4 years now with over 200+ games with a minimal improvement, if he can't improve for us why would he suddleny reach this 'world class' potential iv been hearing about since he broke through for an inferior team in an inferior league?

I don't see why selling him is a better idea than loaning him out, if we can actually convince Szczesny to do this then it's the best solution we could have. If by any chance he takes the opportunity we'll have the GK spot covered for years. If he doesn't, we can sell him a year or two later :dontknow:

I think Cech has more years than we could keep Szczesny as his successor. I'm okay with selling now. When Cech is closer to be done, we could get next young keeper.
