RIP Sir Bobby

Notice the eulogies coming from the media that absolutely slaughtered him non-stop for his eight years as England manager.
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run

My favourite manager ever after Wenger, a true hero who deserved to be a "sir".

I was gutted to discover the news today, although 5 times battling cancer shows the fight and character of the man.

RIP Bobby Robson, football will never forget you.

Sorry if i caused any offence but its the English humour. There was a hell of load of jokes about Jacko on here shortly after his death and eveyone ignored those peeps who found it offensive.

There's a bit of a difference. Michael Jackson may have been a peado and was a bit of a freak. Noone has a bad word to say about robson. He was a gentleman.

Yeah, Robson was a well respected person, I can't think of any reason why he would be hated.

Jacko on the other hand....

My comment wasn't really a dig at robson more at newcastle. I didn't mention any bad word about Sir Bobby. theres peeps out there and probably on here who feel the same way as you and i feel about Sir BR about Jacko so those comments would hurt them. Any way if you want to carry on PM me. I'm not wanting to spoil this dedication honour on our petty comments.

Watch this and you might actually realise what people like robson and keegan actually mean to people from newcastle. Not many clubs have experienced having managers like them.

IIRC he came pretty close to managing us in the 90s.

Can't remember whether it was before or after Rioch.
