I just yearn for the days that our spine was Adams, Bould, Petit and Vieira.

Selling players at 10-15m below market value? when will we ever learn?

We will now miss out on a top target because we bid 10-15m below asking price?

wonder if there's a possible connection - surely not.

Fee was agreed last year while he'd been fairly shit at Hertha off the back of being a little c*** here.

Vieira has technical qualities (from the look of it) than Guendouzi can only dream of. They cost a premium, hopefully Vieira turns out even half as good as Bernardo Silva...seems similar in style and nobody will be moaning about what we paid.

Let's wait and see how much money we will get from Pepe.
And Torreira.
And Bellerin.
And Mari.

The point is: There's no need to let the world know that we desperately want certain players out of the club.

Yeah there isn't but we're shit at selling even when we don't.

Either way, glad Guendouzi is gone.

We need to be more subtle in managing players. We actually got good money from Oxlade-Chamberlain, Iwobi and Willock. All of them were deemed not good enough by majority of the fans, but there were no news about them ostracized by the boss or having disciplinary issues or doesn't get along with someone or any other thing like that. That's why we still managed to sell them for good money. We need to stop doing silly things because the media is itching to write negative stuffs that will devalue our players.
For example: Don't sub Tavarez at half time again. I know he's not good, but no need to show the world about it if we still want some value our of him.

Marseille and France midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, 23, is the subject of an offer from an unnamed Premier League club. (L'Equipe - in French)

Has Arteta seen sense?

Apparently Villa

Apparently £50m

The latter especially could be a load of rubbish, but still think that agreed price was a bad piece of business
