guy knew he immediately made a mistake as soon as he walked into the manure dressing room. Alas, he was done and we used up all of his peak. Cheers for the memories.

Between 2011/12 and 2017/18 he averaged just under a goal every other game.

In La Liga and the PL. Not even playing as a striker really for a lot of that time

Remarkable

Even more remarkable considering he played without a break for 3 consecutive years from 2014-17

2014 (WC)
2015 (Copa)
2016 (Copa Centennial)
2017 (Confederations Cup)

No wonder he was physically done by age 29.

Yeah but he had immense physicality for a relatively small guy. Built like a power lifter

One of the most exciting players we've had in recent years. Created goals out of nothing. I'm glad he was able to hobble his way to a Serie A title last year.

Created is the key word. We discussed yesterday his goalscoring rate, which any top striker would be happy with.

But he wasn't a striker. He typically picked up the ball quite deep and did a lot of his own work before scoring. He was a great dribbler, and had a great knack of tracing a long ball in the air so that he could meet it and immediately bare down on goal

We need to pick up one or two of their top talent as payback now they are in the dirt. Problem is i would not want any other their players at the moment.

Sign Harry Maguire to chase pigeons off the pitch during off season

It's about his level

Scores in a 4-2 win v Empoli to take Inter top of the table. Only his 5th league goal of the season, but he's mostly a sub these days. Would be crazy if he ended up with 2 back to back titles.

Apparently we're monitoring his situation at Inter.

One last hurrah, or another William?

He should go to America.

Put it this way, we shouldn't be offering him the sort of money he probably wants
