San Marino 0-10 England

Jesus Christ.

I'm sure the "smaller" nations would still like to play bigger footballing countries. It's good revenue, exposure, as well as the whole experience.

Absurd tho.

I wouldn't mind if they were getting better, but they're not.

If there was a pre-qualifying process at least they'd get a chance to play their football, score goals, and maybe not concede so many. Build a bit of confidence.

As it is it's like putting Gino di Campo in with Tyson Fury. It's not sport. It's just a battering. Put him in with Philip Schofield or Joe Swash and give the guy a sporting chance.

Tbf to Belarus and Albania, one has reached the play offs previously and Albania were at the last euros and it's the first time they've conceded 5 in years.

Most of these thrashing were against genuine pub teams. There was a debate on the radio about it. Most say why wouldn't players want to play in these games? It's fill your boots time and why wouldn't fans enjoy seeing their country scoring lots of goals?

Is it beautiful? :cloud9: Couldn't happen to a more deserving team.

Also, scenes when Italy and Portugal get drawn into the same playoff path. That's gonna be spicy.

Path A

Scotland v Ukraine
Wales v Austria

Path B
Russia v Poland
Sweden v Czech Republic

Path C
Italy v North Macedonia
Portugal v Turkey

Could be Wales v Scotland for a place in the finals

We won't see both Italy and Portugal at the finals as they are in the same path

Come on Ronaldo

That's the Minnesota home field advantage lmao. CONCACAF shithousery is only rivaled by CONMEBOL. We're built different in the New World.

We had to play Canada in like 14°F (think that's around -9/-10°C). And then there's the hot and humid bs in Central America and the Caribbean played on poverty fields that'd give Europeans aneurysms.

Can you blame them? They border Belarus and the Ukraine.

Nope and it's good. Knowing FIFA they'll punish Poland.

Russia should be kicked out
