Lol, what?

He was the best player on the pitch. You guys even watch the games or simply comment?

I love Messi - unbelievable player, BUT he bottled it. Whilst Ronaldo actually went up a level, Messi went to coast in a league that is not anywhere close to being the level he needed to play at. He went to wind down his career.
At this point, with Ronaldo having done it in the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga and then looking like he is going to tear up the Premier League again, who can really argue who is the best anymore. I think it simply comes down to the fact Ronaldo is more of an athlete and has lasted longer.
No one has Messi's skill level, however. Arguably he reached a higher peak than Ronaldo, but Ronaldo has both operated at a higher level and has/will last longer.

Meh. Not interested in this Messi vs Ron bit. It's beyond redundant at this stage.

While we see fanboys of either player go at it on Twitter, it's only certain members in this board who are obsessively still comparing them without even watching them play.

With Arsenal fans, mostly the online fanbase, they really don't watch other leagues or clubs and depend on highlights.

That would be okay if they didn't act like they watched every game. I could go on about the intricacies but it's pointless as nobody hear watches Ronaldo and/or Messi play.

^ Pretty much the messi from 08-12 that scored 4 against us, 73 goals in a season and 91 in a calender year, that is a level no other player has reached.

Agreed Ronaldo pips it for longevity, one of the best athlete of all time

At least he hasn’t totally destroyed his team.
PSG are winning the league easily.

More like Depressi

He seems unhappy at PSG, even with his best mates Neymar and di Maria there.

Some rumours going around that Qatar will sell PSG after the WC (end of 22/23 season).

It would be a huge development if true. QSI is apparently unhappy with Nasser's leadership, and have said they wanted Neymar gone after this season. Maybe the last domino to fall is Mbappe refusing £125m to stay on.

After the Qatar WC, I can imagine them wanting to move on. Nothing left for them to sportswash.

Not Ligue 1 but Ligue 2.

Nancy vs Quevilly Rouen match abandoned at 3-0 last night when Nancy fans started throwing flares and fireworks onto the pitch in protest at their owners.
