Read an interesting blog today (by a Thai fan) he compares Arsenal to Spurs and concludes that player wise there isn't all that much in it ... however ... he comes to this conclusion ....

Against Real Madrid, man for man a far better team than Spurs, the Spurs players set out with a clear game plan, executed that game plan from the 1st to the 90th minute, adjusted at half time to compensate for perceived weakness, used their substitutes to see out the plan, they had some luck, but deserved their point

Now compare that to Arsenal v Bayern or indeed Arsenal v Watford and whilst we may have as good players we don't come close in terms of strategy, effort, concentration, and teamwork

That's a damning indictment of where we are ... but I reckon he's nailed it ...

I'm more positive than most of you lot but our recruitment recently has been dire

Let's just compare
Lloris>>>>Cech
Toby Alderwhatever=Koscielny
Sanchez+Verthongen>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mertesacker/Mustafi/Holding, whatever
Aurier>>>>Bellerin
Kolasinac>whatever shit they have at LB
Their midfield shits all over ours, do I even have to compare? We're thinking of playing Xhaka, Ramsey, Elneny and co. They can afford not to play Winks/Dier. That's on another level

Kane>>>>>>Lacazette+Giroud+Welbeck

Sanchez is the best winger on either side, but Son is much, much better than Walcott and co

I always said get aurier. Would be cheap and he is an arsenal fan...easily better than bellerin. Tottenham are smart with their transfers. Also Sanchez is very good we got f***ing mustafi...

Terrible result for Athletico, especially as Qarabag were down to 10 men. If Roma win today they look destined for Europa and a guaranteed tie with Arsenal in the knockout stages.

Roma by far the more positive team but Chelsea lead with their 7 defensive-minded players.

Midfield pivot of Bakayoko and Luiz in front of a back five of Zapacosta, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill and Alonso at home against a Roma side with 5-6 of their B team players ffs.

Another wonderful attack by Roma starting with Dzeko nutmegging Morata. Sadly for them Perotti misses another good chance.

Not much later Morata chokes in front of goal accidentally causing the ball to end up into Hazard's path who shows how it's done.

Hope Roma can get themselves an equaliser - they deserve it.

Dzeko just replicated Van Persie's volley against Everton

Eerily similair angle, pass, distance and trajectory.
