Just curious, I'd actually like to see some of these quotes....

likewise, what did they do?

I too would like to see these quotes

Nihat Kahveci: " croatia? they will have no chance, we are better than them in every single way, they can't hurt us, we are in the semis"

Fatih Terim: " we don't have the reason to be afraid of croatia, we are already looking for the semi finals"

and more but i'm not in the mood for that anymore...

OK, I'll admit, that is a bit cocky :dizzy:

yeah, too cocky for me, cos i had no negative feelings for them, i was their fan in all three games in the group stage.

I can see how you must feel niko :1970_two_smileys_drinking_beer_together.gif:

What you have to understand though, is that Turkey is rabid about football. I wouldn't be surprised if these quotes were "paraphrased" by the Turkish media to stir up more excitement back home :sundae:

I wanted Germany vs Croatia and Holland vs Spain semi-fianls instead i bet it's going to be Germany vs Turkey (obviously) and Russia vs Italy :crybaby:

To be fair to Russia they deserved it tonight, gutted for Holland though.

Well then, don't know if Arsene is scouting or just watching Cesc but he is at the match...

Could he be having a look at one David Villa???

Did you see him sitting next to Zidane? Maybe he was trying to talk him into getting out of retirement and signing for us :sneaky2:

I know it doesn't look like much just now as they're hardly threading killer passes but Xavi and Iniesta are some pairing in there, you can see why Cesc don't get a game.

But just watch their movement off the ball, the little fake runs to send your man the other way and then go for the short balls. Something that's missing from most of your average midfielders, They don't mind playing 4 or 5 really easy easy passes. By the time they've done that they'll have at least a 5 yard radius to do something with it!

Absolute masters of making space for themselves.

Italy will get tired after 70 mins or so just chasing them, then you might see some fireworks! Two of the best.

No Arseman, you have it all wrong...

Arsene was trying to sign Zidane's son
