Most from City is for Charlie. Partly from me aswell. I hold no grudges to getting beat by Croatia in the qualifying though, so hope to see we got beat by the best!

I think croatia or the czech's will win it. There are alot of strong teams in the tornament but got a pick 1 team or in my case 2 lol.

If croatia had eduardo think they would've been favourites but still have strong enough squad to win. Even if they stopped us being there i still back them, n us not being is more down to us being shit and having a shit manager at the time lol

Nik a question: without Dudu leading the line do you think your boys have enough in the squad to get you through the group games?

just cos they beat england they arent world beaters

tbh i would have been supporting them 100% if dudu was playing,

and am sort of still supporting them, cos they play with heart and guts, and a lot of scots i know are liking them too, but i would rather the big boys got through purely as a neutral so we could see the best players playing

it's hard to say what we can do without dudu, he's natural born killer, who needs just one chance to score! we have quality strikers (olic scored 14 goals in bundesliga for HSV, more than van der vart who is shoting penalties, petric scored 13 for borussia dortmund, and he was injured two months, klasnić scored 8 after kidney transplatation for werder bremen, 4 in UEFA cup and he was fourth choice ) but we will miss dudu big time! in qualifications he scored 10 goals from 12 shots on goal!!!

ab_fab, you will see that croatian players are quality players, not just because they play with hart, modrić is one of the best playmakers on the world, kranjcar is very talented player, rakitic is only 19, and he is no1 in schalke (11 assists, 2 goals), srna is the captain of ukraine champions! they are playing beautifull football!

we did not just beat england once, we beat them twice, and if you watch both game again you will see that england had no chance, they could only watch our game! we didn't beat them like italians to score goal and sit back! no we completly own that field! in first game we had 17 (9) shots on goal and england had 4(1)! only one shot on goal and that was in 93rd minute!
on wembley it was the same, england even got penalty, gift from the ref, but they still didn't make it!
we beat israel away, no one did that in past 6 years, russians have luck, big time, in both games we hit the post four times!!!, we beat italy in their first game after WC2006 in italy!

i'm not saying we are the best team in the world, we're not, but we can play against everyone and no one can say that they are favourits in that game!

yeah, srna will play tomorrow for sure, just watch his free kick!
and thanks again for this signature, it's beautifull!!!!

god, please give us three points tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So do you attribute Croatia's renaissance after WC2006 to Bilic, the new players, the togetherness or what? Cos i remember the Croats being hopeless in that tournament. No offence intended mate.

portugal, spain, france,(maybe germany and italy) have 11 players out of 11 that are world class

thats 4 players out of 11, im not having a go, just stating the facts, captain of ukraine champs isnt the greatest claim to fame in a world footballing sense

as well as you played against england, england played as bad as they could have with that squad due to maclarens inept management

i wish you good luck though :P, the team with the best individuals dont always win

i know what are you trying to say, but you forgot the fact that in croatia lives 4,5 milion people, so the half of it are man, and germany, spain, italy, france, england have that much registrated football players!

it's not easy for croatian players to become "star" like it is for german, spain or italian player, they are born in rich country with great football history, football infrastructure, training camps, and you don't have that in croatia!!! in croatia, player has only talent, dream, hard work and a big hart! and we still had superstars like suker, boban, prosinecki, boksic...

you can say that (for example) podolski is a big star, but he didn't do shit in last 2 years, but he's a star cos he's german!

on every position we have players that are playing in big clubs, in the first team, so i don't like this "big names" team should be in the semifinals! if you think like that, arsenal is shit team, we have almunia, sagna, clichy, toure, they are not super stars cos united and chelsea has "bigger" names in the squad like ferdinand, evra, carvalho, terry, cole...!? it's the same right?

croatia is playing good attacking football with hart (just like czech before) and if you ask me that's more than enough for me, i don't need stars, i need players!

yes, we were shit on that tournament and that was kranjcar's fault! (the coach, not the player)

and yes bilic should take the credit for our renaissance, he spend two years learning about the coaching job. he was learning from wenger, mourinho and lippi, and he said that was the best two years of his life, cos he learned a lot! people were sceptic, but he proved that he's class in the first game in moscow!

He put in the squad young players like dudu (23, not now when he started to play), modric (21), corluka (20).
they are now main players in the team! i think that bilic is one of the best young coaches in the world and i will support him even if we lose all three games! :Peace:

respect  i agree, croatia are a really good outfit etc..., i was just saying purely as a neutral i would rather see a holland v france or portugal germany etc

but.. if croatia werent there would you rather see a scotland v sweden semi or a holland portugal? (not that scotland play the same style as croatia lol but thats not really the point)

I hear Bilic has signed a new contract as recognition for his sterling work ( it's unbelievable he gets paid a mere £80k a year whilst other managers with infinitely more resources get £2, 3, 4 million a year, and do much worse!) but, do you see him being snapped up by a club team after this tournament or do you think he'll lead you through your WC qualifying campaign?
