sure! last time we meet them 10 years ago, we beat the shit out of them! why not to do that again!? :smartass:

I hope so mate, I've got some money on Klose and Podolski to scare at anytime tho but I did have a thought Modric might do the business and stuck some on him as well.

Blimey! They have Germany at odds on! Croatia are a shade over 5's which is quite a decent earner.

Indeed! I've bunged half a carrot biscuit into the face pot, and hopefully the 18 grinder will be smiling on me! :dizzy: :scream:

Sorry mate, couldn't resist, since nothing you said made a blind bit of sense to me  :embarassed:

Errrr..... Odds on. It means (in this instance) you would have to put £5 on to win £2 (Plus your stake, making a £7 return)

5's or 5 to 1 means you will get 5 times your stake back, plus your stake, so £5 at 5to1 nets £25 profit, plus £5 from your stake, meaning £30.

Does that explain it slightly better?

Right my bets have been placed. I have N Kovac for the first goal and Klose, Podolski and Modric to score at anytime.

Also got money on a Croatia win and a Croatia/Poland double.

Got Smolarek to score 1st in the Polska game, :1970_two_smileys_drinking_beer_together.gif:

Well, if it's any consolation, I tend to pick three legged donkeys on the horses!

Dogs are very hit and miss, and it's more fun actually being there, and using The Tote.

Betting on football is well hard. The times I've had 9 results in, and ManUre lose at home to Barnet or whatever, and I potentially lose a fortune in winnings!

Still, a bet on Croatia tonight is good odds, so well worth a few quid.

watch this kid ivan rakitic, i think he will start. he was linked with arsenal this spring. he's 19, and he played good season in first team for schalke (3 goals, 12 assists).

it was announced that we will put giant flag on todays game (if they allowe that), it's realy big 750 square meters (8073 square feet)

By hell, that's some flag!

I've put the teams up in the Group B thread.
