What better time would there be to thrash our bogey team on their own patch. And we need a confidence booster ahead of the scouse-triple-smackdown.

Sigh...i am finding it hard to stay positive and upbeat against Bolton. I was soooo disappointed when the final whistle went at the Chelsea match i contemplated taking the day off and drowning in my sorrow.
Can someone please lift the dark and gloom after the defeat at stamford bridge?

I'm struggling to convince myself that we'll even get a goal. :(

I don't know why we don't just play 5-5-0, for the amount of good our strikers have done over the past 5 games

I'd like to think we can win this but after the setbacks of the past month, I'd be lying if I said I was confident. I can't see past a 1-1 draw. We've already kissed goodbye to the title and if we draw against Bolton then it's probably going to be third place for us.

We surly can't have 4 draws and a loss in 5 weeks and then have another draw can we?!

It must be time for a win!

Are you trying to convince us, or yourself Trina :P

I'd dearly love a win, but is it going to happen?

Perhaps I'm being a bit greedy, but I don't just want a win out of this game.

I want a game where we just wipe the floor with the opposition, complete and total dominance from whistle to whistle. One where I can sit back and relax knowing that we are going to cruise to a win after the 25th minute. Not a win where I am still nervious at all in the second half.

We really need that this weekend with the games we have coming up and the situation we've put ourselves in. Been a long time since we've had a game like that too.

Totally agree.

I was reading on a blog that in the league this season, the 5-0 over Derby was the only game where we pretty much made the win safe before the last half hour or so. I know we have this knack for late drama, but I'd prefer us to put a game beyond doubt instead of taking their foot off the pedal when only one goal ahead.

This game is massively important but it has nothing to do with the Premiership. We need some encouragement before we face the scousers in the CL, and a well deserved thumping of Bolton would do us nicely.

Tough one this game as they always raise our game against us, don't really see them as the bogey team Boro seem to have that title this season. They are very blunt in attack but could nick a goal, however the question remains the confidence of our strikers and where the goals will come from. We need to step up and cannot afford to draw or lose for the faint glimmer for what is the title.
