WTF!
Finally the ball goes in!
Bendter!
Final kick of the game...
I'll look at it as 1 point earned rather then 2 lost.
Frankly we were horribly lucky...

Good God, I turn the channel for 1 minute and they f***ing score.
Starting to wonder if I am supposed to watch the matches live...

We got f***ing lucky today. That was a pathetic effort at best.
Hopefully all is not lost.

Not feeling real confident at the moment... :~

And well he should.
It's noteworthy that the one time Ade passes to Bendtner he scores.
I wonder if it would've been better to bring him on sooner as he's much calmer in front of goal than Theo.

I gotta agree with you Inch, seems like Nicky is not so jumpy when he gets chances.
The nerves will come with time for Theo. Nicky coming off the bench to provide a spark has worked more than once this season... :1:

Ok, composed myself again now....

Talk about skin of the teeth! How we stay top is beyond me, but the fact remains that we have achieved something out of absolutely nothing. It's what Champions are made of, and although our chances are somewhat slimmer, it's still in our own destiny, albeit by a thread.

Let's not get too complacent nor too depressed about this one. CSKA Fulham and ManUre in recent years have won the title by pulling off results from games when they simply weren't at the races, Arsenal are still doing this. A win at Cold Trafford, and we are on the home straight. Yes there is a lot of water to pass under the bridge yet, but keep grinding results out, and it'll be good enough.

However the stone cold fact is that we simply can't afford a defeat now. How Wenger picks the team up from this is open to debate, but surely the late goal will give a reasonably happy dressing room, and the scope to improve. RVP coming back soon will be a massive boost, so it really isn't over yet, there is still some fight in Arsenal, and we have to believe it.

Keep The Faith

I want to know - WTF has happened to Cesc? A shadow of the player he was at the start of the season today. And I wish he would just put his foot through the ball rather than try to dink it (that chance at the end of the first half)

I said last week that Theo still had to convince me, and he didn't help much today. As mentioned he seems to panic when near the goal. Sometimes all he had to do was cut the ball back low to the team mate but instead he would take on the full back and balloon a cross/shot/whatever over the bar.

Can't blame Big Phil for the own goal, I did think Gallas could have done more to stop the cross coming in.

On the positives, we're still ahead, but we've got to be on our toes for the remaining games.

Villa have drawn away to Pool, Chelski and us now, and I just hope they manage to put up the same sort of fight when they visit Old Toilet, rather than rolling over and getting stuffed.

Also I know people don't really like 4-5-1 but until RVP comes back, we really don't have a choice. I still think Theo and Nick are best used as subs, particularly Theo's pace against tiring defences.
