I think it'll be a similar line up but with a much stronger bench.

Well last season teams were

1st leg at Spurs

Manuel Almunia
Kolo Toure
Justin Hoyte
Philippe Senderos
Armand Traore
Abou Diaby
Alexander Hleb 56
Mathieu Flamini 81
Denilson
Francesc Fabregas
Julio Baptista
Theo Walcott
Jeremie Aliadiere
Emmanuel Eboue 60

Subs not used
Mart Poom
Mark Randall

2nd leg at home

Manuel Almunia
Kolo Toure
Justin Hoyte
Philippe Senderos
Armand Traore
Gael Clichy 63
Gilberto
Denilson
Abou Diaby
Francesc Fabregas 79
Theo Walcott
Tomas Rosicky 63
Jeremie Aliadiere
Emmanuel Adebayor

Subs not used
Mart Poom
Mathieu Flamini

I think judging by who Arsene used last year in the 1st and 2nd legs will suggest that a slightly stronger team will be playing or on the bench :)

Personally the only player i think needs to play Sp*rs in the second leg is ADEBAYOR, he just loves to score against them  :3:

He did it a few times last night but his pace normally got him out of trouble.
Seeing as Diaby is looking very uncomfortable on the left of midfield, i'd be tempted to have a look at Traore in that position for the 2nd leg.
Diaby could switch into the centre and partner Denilson.

The more I see of Traore the more I think he'd be better as a LW.
He's got pace and dribbling skills and can pass the ball but he often gets caught out of position.

Traore reminds me of a young Ashley Cole, he used to love going forward but often got caught out of posistion on occassions, hopfully Traore will learn when and when not to push forward. Oh and please stop the step overs Traore ;) :9:

Think a big sigh of relief came over me when the final whistle blew, Theo saved us some major embarrasment, im not grumbling in any way, as at teh end of the day Spurs could not beat us even with mainly a 2nd string team, but you can bet your bottom dollar that had we not equalised we wouldnt hear the end of it, 2nd team or not.

How malbranque missed that sitter i dont know!...luckily for us.

Now that i have seen the 2nd half i have to say Hoyte was brilliant at CB, id like to see him play vs Birmingham but Senderos has done well enough to play i think. I wasnt impressed by Djourou in the 1st half :7:

Did anyone else read Goodplaya's opinion of Spurs in his blog? Made me chuckle so it did..

What a feeble, pathetic, toothless, bollockless shower of chokers.

How, in the name of humanity, did they fail to win that game? Forget talk of a flukey equaliser - it should have made it 4 or 5-1.

Honestly, that football club should just cease. It should face the footballistic equivalent of being put down.

The players should be auctioned for charity, the ground converted into a landscaped water feature and the board of directors just sent somewhere far away.

Then the fans should be divided into those who are fans by nature and those who are fans by nurture.

Where it is by nature (ie they were just born with it and are the first generation of Spurs supporter in the household), some kind of reprogramming using electronic impulses would be appropriate. Where there is evidence of supporting Spurs being passed from generation to generation then, reluctantly, the only realistic answer is sterilisation.

You may, at this stage, be thinking I’ve gone a little mad. But their sheer ineptitude actually made me angry at one stage.

And to hear them afterwards, some of them were happy - pleased to have got a draw at the home of the mighty Arsenal.

You were playing our reserves. You will win the return leg. But it’s pathetic. Have some self-respect.
