to be completely honest i didn't expect a come back at all, so a draw is good enough for me, the important is that they didn't beat us, with team B :D:D:D
i just wan't to know how the scum manage to keep their fans...

Arsenal Vs Spurs | Carling Cup SF (1)

Postby SE13 » Wed Jan 09, 2008 10:00 pm

Dear, oh dear. The Scum.... They play our under 12's, we give them a goal start, and they still can't beat us! We give them 5000 tickets at the "so-called Library" and they can't out-sing us.

And to think, it's only a poxy Egg-Cup

Back to the drawing board, Middlesex. This just confirms what a waste of space you really are!

No further evidence offered, the jury has seen enough

we were awful today.
the defence 1st half was shocking.
gilberto, a so called world cup winner, was terrible.
our strikers couldn't put anything together.

we were lucky to get a draw and i have a sneaky feeling that the likes of adebayor and rosicky will feature at sh*te hart lane

Well thank God for Theo's right nipple, otherwise that would've been embarassing.
I know it's the kids v a full strength team but we've come to expect better from our kids and most of them were poor tonight.
The defence were shaky but the biggest miss of the night was Diarra imo.
If we'd have had Diarra or Flamini playing instead of Gilberto it would've been a different story.
Spuds had so much possession and much of that was down to Bert giving it to them, and then allowing them to run with it.

I worry about Diaby at times too. I know he's young and he has time to learn but in the second half he was up to his usual ball-hogging tricks again. If he's going to progress anywhere with this squad he's going to have to change the way he plays quite drastically.
He's a great dribbler but he just DOESN'T know when to release the ball. He even dribbled across his own penalty area suicide! :0

The link up play between our strikers wasn't good enough today and that's why we didn't have enough chances on goal imo.
Like everyone here I still can't see what Arsene sees in Senderos. His favourite trick seems to be to run forward as a ball is lumped forward in an attempt to play the opposition striker offside.
When that attempt fails he's left stranded on the half way line with the striker in acres of space to receive the ball and head for goal.
He did the same thing against Blackburn the other day.

Anyway after the way we played today I'll happily take that point in the hope that Diarra will play in the second leg and RVP and Ade will be on the bench!

you watched the game??!! our strikers didn`t get even one ball from midfield, even this one we scored was created by striker!! you should watch that game first..poor midfield..gilberto-lazy, denilson-done nothing, diaby-playing with him self..

i no the midfield was bad, but on the few occasions bendtner came short to get the ball he played hopeless passes to robin/eduardo or he would just lose it.

our midfield was a disgrace tonight, but we can;t put the blame just on them.

BTW who else thinks that taore's free kick was quite possibly the worst free kick ever!!!
