With qualification already assured, i'm expecting a 'Carling Cup' feel to this team.

I think Denilson and Diarra will keep their places in midfield, with Fabregas on the bench.

I also think we'll see Bendtner and Eduardo start up front.

and, keep it under your hat, i've heard a whisper that a certain mad German may play in goal......

I'd like to see all of them, especially Eduardo. And if Jens does get in, who thinks that might be his last Gunner appearance?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he will rotate his starting XI for the UEFA Champions League clash against Sevilla.

The Gunners have already secured qualification to the knock-out stages of Europe's elite competition; however top spot has yet to be guaranteed.

Gael Clichy, Emmanuel Adebayor and William Gallas all stay in North London for the trip to Spain, but Mathieu Flamini, Gilberto and Cesc Fabregas are back after missing Saturday's victory over Wigan.

Wenger made wholesale changes for Arsenal's last Champions League encounter against Slavia Prague, and he has confirmed a similar line-up will be implemented on Tuesday.

"Some players will be rested for Sevilla. I will rotate and it will be maybe a similar side to that against Slavia," he told the club's official website.

Really pleased that Bendtner is getting the start he deserves, hopefully he'll take his chance well.

seville are a strong outfit

i think we will get beaten, due to us playing a weakened team, it would be a hard place to get a result with our first XI

i hope this doesnt dent the team morale/momentum that we are building game on game

I think we are a strong team even with key players missing. I like to see games like this & the Wigan match as an opportunity for periferal players to show that they can play to the same standard as the first choice XI. I think with the competition for first team places & the kind of heart that we showed against Man U & Liverpool, a draw is the least that we can expect. Even away to a quality side.

I have a feeling we are going to play for a draw, and when do that against a good team its likely to get you beaten. I don't think we have anything to fear against Sevilla (even though they are a good side) but I hope we don't play too conservatively, because if you go behind its very hard to go on the attack.

Quite a few changes then! I wonder if Cesc and Flamini will be brought back?

Dudu Bendtner
Rosicky Flamini Cesc Eboue
Traore Senderos Toure Sagna

That squad ought to do the trick. Bring on Walcott in the second half!

I think we might line-up:

Almunia

Sagna - Senderos - Toure - Traore

Eboue - Diarra - Gilberto - Denilson

Eduardo - Bendtner

Almunia

Hoyte - Senderos - Toure - Traore

Eboue - Flamini - Dennilson - Rosicky

Eduardo - Walcott

-----------------------------

Im not expecting a great game tbh, and i wouldnt be suprised if its a bit of a plain affair seeing as we have already qualified, dont think the players will go in for any reckless tackles or anything, mainly to avoid further injuries---we just playing now because we have to finish the group.

LOL Just wish the knockout stages would hurry up & come along!

I really miss Lehmann! I mean i love Almunia of course but Jens' is our #1! and I haven't seen him in a while (except when he played for germany) So with a easy match today, I tihnk Arsene should try and buil Jens back into the squad slowly but not kick Almunia out obviously. Remember this could be Lehmann's last year with us because I had read a few months ago on CNN that he said that after the euro 2008 he wants to finish with club football and continue his work with Germany.

Good feelin about the game tonight, Arsenal fail to dissapoint me! lol proud to be a gooner through thick and thin!
