Full Time

1-0 to Arsenal, RVP goalscorer.

Well it's a win, that's all that counts!

Well played Gooners, nearly had a heart attack when Bucharest broke through....until their striker completely fluffed it! :D

Well, like I said in the first place, to come away from there with more than a point is a real bonus. Not only are we (apparently) the first English side to win there (Another for the record books) but we have picked up another useful three points, and actually grinded a result out. In the words of supporters elsewhere, and also from the 1,000 or so fans out there tonight, "That's what makes Champions"

Good result tonight guys, we went out there did what we had to do and and come away with the 3pts and a clean sheet away from home is a good positive, tonights result makes it 9 wins in a row and continues our unbeaten run.

So RvP came to the rescue for the second game in a row, whats happend to cesc where has his goals gone lol flamini again a solid performance well all 11 players had a good game, the defence naming no names (Senderos) again had me on the edge of my sit but i get used to it now and anyways he can't that bad thats 7 starts and 1 sub apperance with 6 clean sheets.

so to round of how i feel about tonight in one word

GOOD.

I know! I was gobsmacked he didnt smack that in the back of the net. Lucky escape for us there! Also why was their goal disallowed? i havent seen the replay? offside?
(My son decided it was a good time to throw up! so i missed 10 mins) :?

Not the best ive seen us play, i think the atmsophere may have had a bit to do with it, their stadium just seemed so....well ....quiet!.....These open top stadiums dont hold the acoustrics veery well! ;)

But all the same Job Done! max 6pts & top of the group! :trophy:

I thought we looked comfortable at the back last night.
Clichy left them onside a couple of times but, as a unit, i thought they functioned really well.

Senderos had an excellent game last night.
His tackling and distibution was first class.
And he bailed out Toure 3 times in the first 10 mins alone!
(but Toure's more popular than Senderos, so it barely warrants a mention)

As for the rest of the team, Flamini continues to impress and no-one works harder than Adebayor.
Eboue was poor and Van Persie was fairly anonymous, until he popped up with a great finish.

Very pleased with that result!

i was one on them game you just wanted to end , no atmosphere and not very exciting
did what we needed to do , game like that coming away with a draw is a good result so to nick a win shows how the team are getting stronger all the time

i thought senderos was man of the man he didnt mess up once all night :trophy:

Fair play to Arsenal because the atmosphere was pretty shite last night and the game wasn't much better, the game could easily finnished 0-0
