Because they 'could be' doesn't mean we should assume that is the case. People comment on his poor workrate as if it is fact - it isn't!

So you could say by you commenting on it not being true isn't necessarily true either then, cause in reality nobody knows. So by you denying is just as bad as them thinking its true. ;)

Bob Wilson mentioned on talkshite that Wenger had reservations over JET's stamina and work rate.

I have seen evidence of his workrate in youth games. That is the basis for my argument. The basis of your argument is that he was sold so it must have been his work rate. So i'm guessing connolly and simpson's workrates were poor too? We let too many kids go without giving them a fair chance IMO.

A few games are nothing to go by. We have coaches that see them play week in week out, I trust their opinion of these youngsters above anyone else.

I've been fond of a couple of youth players in the past, and convinced myself that they could make it. But 9 times out of 10 (or more) the coaches make the right decision in deciding to let them go.

Fair enough i just think that if we are going to label a player as lazy we should have some evidence. I hadn't heard the bob wilson stuff so if true then fine. ;)

Funny how he apparently had no reservations about Denilson's, Diaby's or Song's stamina and work rate. And if he did they were not acted upon

From a Championship side to a League One side at an age when you should be making progress, not exactly impressive. :hiding:

He was actually doing okay at Ipswich but like Elkanofan said he's more interested than getting smashed every weekend with f***ing chipmunk. Had so much potential aswell

Me too. Looks like he's turned out to be another one of those players with loads of technical skill but a piss-poor attitude.
Bit like Bentley etc.
