Adebayor left us then scored 5 in 5, do we miss him? :sneaky:

Hardly the same.

All I'm saying is we let him go for £1m. The Ox cost us £12m so he better be 12 times better than JET or there'll be f***ing trouble.

It don't work like that in todays market sadly Inch you'll be paying an extra 10 million for someone who is only a little bit better. This market is f***ked up, that's like saying you'll expect Henderson to be twice as good as Adam.

In a reserves game against West Ham (when Wilshere scored that curler) Thomas partnered Diaby in the centre of midfield and looked better than Diaby. That was the first time that I noticed him, considering Diaby was supposed to be the next Vieira I actually thought Thomas looked the more likely Vieira replacement.

Bouldy says he has been trying to persuade Thomas to play CB but that Thomas was having none of it. He has been playing on the wing and (I think) he's our youth team's top scorer. He is a great all-rounder. We've been saying for a couple of years now that we need a monster in midfield and Thomas certainly looks ready for a physical battle.

Could Jay Emmanuel-Thomas become the English Patrick Vieira, or is he another youngster who is likely to go out on loan and disappear into the lower divisions a la Connolly, Stokes etc?

:crybaby:

Hoping he will find his way back to the Premier League and maybe in the future he'll come back to Arsenal an even better player.

Can we please stop this BS about work rate! I have watched his career more closely than most and seen no evidence of JET's supposed poor work rate!

If anything it'd be his lifestyle that let him down if twitter and newspaper reports are anything to go by!

No, i haven't seen one comment from the club about work rate. Wenger, in one interview, said the word 'attitude' and everyone started questionning his work rate.

Whether you saw a comment or not about it doesn't mean it isn't true, and attitude and work rate could be synonymous.
