U21 Arsenal (4) v West Brom (2)

Goals: Crowley x Akpom x 3

View:

Akpom needs to work on his tactical understanding of the game.

Struggled to impose himself on loan or at the highest level because of this. Has raw ability; pace, power and technique. Needs to work on hold up play. Stole the show tonight. Was brilliant, although helped greatly by the creativity behind him.

Expect him to move on loan in January.

Crowley was very good on the left wing surprisingly. Some talk of him moving on a short loan to a League 1 side in January also. Needs to develop physically first. Talk of him occupying Santi's position in the next few seasons.

Campbell struggled at times, however his movement is better than I thought. Needs to become more involved, he goes missing for long spells.

Diaby did the basics well with a few good moments, however clearly needs match practice.

Wenger was in attendance - smiled emphatically after Akpom's third (assisted by Joel)

Crowley is going to be big, Zelalem benched yesterday for him I assume.
Need to give Akpom couple of chances in 1st team, can't imagine him being worse than SaNOgoal

Zelalem was benched for Diaby (and subbed in at half time). He plays a deeper role.
