i agree with you to an extent but still not entirely. For example zelalem has not been great at all for the u18s or u21s yet he's been given alot more opportunities at the higher level than someone like crowley for example.
Look at the opportunities someone like miyaichi has had despite being one of the worst players i've seen at the club and someone who has struggled at youth level, yet aneke has never really been given a chance. It just seems like some of our youth (including the foreign) have already been written off or are less favoured than other.
Alban bunjaku from a few seasons ago seems like another example
