At that price surely we can do better, I mean we sold Martinez a keeper who isn10 times the keeper Ramsdale is for 20 million!

Really don’t trust Edu and Arteta their judgement on players seems to be very flawed.

Anyone can get things wrong, but you perhaps should learn not to write off a player you haven't seen play for us and maybe trust Arteta and Edu's judgement a bit more.. they both know a hell of a lot more than you do about how to move us forward.

I’m amazed your so focussed on me you waste your time looking for old posts

People get things wrong, it’s called being human. I said I didn’t trust him and for good reason, they’d flopped up until now, let’s see how things look at the end of the season before counting our chickens.

Won't be the first time you'll get reminded of the nonsense you've polluted the forum with over the last months - all in the name of your stupid anti-Arteta crap.

Others will get it in spades as well.

It's more what you said.
You said Ramsdale was not very good and would be a waste of money if we signed him.
Judging players is clearly not a strong point of yours.

Was very shaky today. As he was in the league game against Liverpool. Hopefully a one off.

Had a couple of moments, as did Gabriel but each time one struggled the other (or White) was there to get their back. It really does have Seaman, Dixon, Adams, Bould, Winterburn vibes about it.

He is doing a great job, let's hope he keeps it up a few dodgy moments but overall good.

Reiss wrote:I see Bob Wilson has opened his mouth and told Ramsdale to stop yelling so much at defenders and now the media are enjoying creating headlines to unsettle him.

You'd think Bob would be more wise than say something like that to the media. Plus, I like the fact that Ramsdale shouts and orders people around. Leno is the complete opposite.

Par for the course really.
Heavy praise or heavy criticism.
It's all about clicks.
If Ramsdale is as good as we think he is, he'll ignore it all and keep working hard.

Another stellar performance tonight.

He's continuing to embarrass those who derided his signing for us.

Right now the best goalkeeper in the league.
If he continues improving at this rate in his career, could be Englands #1 this winter.

Its not "embarrass" most of them were warranted questions and more confusion at the time, no one thought he was going to replace Leno, that was the main issue.

£30m for a back up keeper was what was derided, what we know now is he's replaced Leno, so spending £30m on a first choice keeper isn't such a problem.

But I admit, he's performing above and beyond even what I thought he was capable of.

He's been the best buy of the summer transfers, we're lucky to have him.

I don't think we are emarrassed, we acknowledge that he was a good signing and is doing well.
