Gunners appoint new Club doctor

Arsenal can announce that it has appointed Gary O’Driscoll as the new club doctor replacing Ian Beasley, who has taken up a role within the England national setup.

Gary has been working with the Irish national rugby union side for several years, and has also joined the British Lions squad on tour something he will be doing once more at the end of the football season when they visit South Africa.

Gary officially starts his new role today and everybody at the Club welcomes Gary and wishes him a happy and successful association with Arsenal.

We keep them too busy, stress em out. The national job looks like a dream after managing our infirmary. ;)

This guy was a Doctor for England Rugby team wasnt he? I think this is the guy they were talking bout last weekend. He's actually a Man U supporter, so... not much to hope for =P

He was the Doctor for the Irish Rugby team, i have been over there for a week so i actually heard this news a while before Arsenal.com announced it.

Very experienced and superb according to the Irish lads.

Welcome addition if you ask me.

I'm pleased the new doctor comes highly recommended, but I would be much happier if we still had Gary Lewin also in the dug-out. His son Colin is physio now but I dunno, I would rather have the best in the world, which is what Gary is.

This doctor is the business. Worked very hard for the Irish rugby team. Believe me some rugby injuries are worse than your average football one so he will have plenty of experience.

But we were told the medical staff hired under the old regime sucked? Another false narrative I suppose.
