Top 4 is a good season.
5th is ok.

Has to come with more attacking play and more goals than we scored this year to show we're on the right path.
also has to come with some demonstration that the silly selection errors become far less regular.

Anything from 6th down is not good enough.

Good season would be top 4 and Arteta being sacked.l because the truth is we’re getting nowhere near top 4 with him in charge.

Not expecting it, but a Top 4 finish. Wenger was sacked for finishing outside of the Top 4 two seasons in a row and losing a semi final in the Europa League. Emery was sacked for finishing outside of the Top 4 and losing a Europa League final. Same should apply to Arteta next season now he's had a full season.

Top 4, but with Arteta as our coach I don't expect more than barely top half of the table.

Strictly speaking - according to the thread title - your answer has to be correct.
I think most were just commenting on a mix of objective and reasonable expectation.

No it isn't.

Nothing about what Arteta, the Kroenkes or Arsenal as a club are doing suggests their objective is to win the league.

Nothing! in fact that's a joke of a claim at this point.

Their objective is top 6, 4th at a stretch.

Saying your objectives is not enough, it needs to be backed up by the correct actions, those actions will not be forthcoming, trust me.

............. now if AFC sacked Arteta, hired Conte and gave him £200m to spend, then I'd say

Maybe, but none of that is happening.
