Were it not for that atrocious 2 month period we would've achieved top 6. Fine, catching Liverpool and Man City is not going to happen for a while, but the likes of Chelsea, Spurs and Man U are definitely within our reach with 2 or 3 key signings and a better manager. Man U were lucky this season, all Chelsea can do is defend, offensively they are pap, Spurs will be losing Kane plus they are all over the shop. Leicester are punching above their weight, they are just blown up cruiserweights in a heavyweight battle.

If all Chelsea can do is defend why do half the forum kiss Tuchel's feet?

In one thread people talk about Chelsea and Tuchel like they are the greatest but now we should suddenly expect to finish above them? Nevermind the fact we aren't going to change the manager before next season so mentioning 'a better manager' is redundant, add to that they can spend 200m every year and already have a squad way better than ours, regardless of the manager question.

Either way I'd be happier to be Leicester punching above their weight or as lucky as Man Utd.

Tuchel defending and winning big prizes is nothing to complain about. Arteta defending and falling to 15th before recovering back to 8th is pathetic

Levels.

For next season

League - 80+. Get that and that's great no matter where we finish
Europa winners
FA cup winners
Carabao cup final

Doesn't need unrealistic expectations to have him bashed

He had perfectly expectations this season and he's failed

My aims for this season was top 4. Next season it's top 3 which I guess 80+ will get

We're a year behind schedule. My expectations aren't

:rofll:

Unrealistic expectations to bash the manager :hail:

After 1 game he’ll tell us we’re going to get relegated and we should have signed Doucoure.

Next year
Top 4 and a deep into all 3 cups.
Anything less and we move on to a new manger.
Huge season for Mikel next year.
He’s set things up nicely with revamping the club but now needs to push on.

Xhaka still the best cm in the country?

Congratulations btw. I did say I'd be the first to do it. I'll be the bigger man. We weren't good enough for CL this season. Your boys were.

Bring on next season

Win Europa or get the sack.

We aren't going to make 4th place next year. It was a layup this year and he still blew it.

........... you know what the problem is though?

Because of fans like you supporting poor decisions and half arsed efforts, AFC have felt strong enough to give Arteta a 3 year contract so he's going nowhere.

Just in case your brain is scrambling to wonder what I mean, its this, Vinai has tied his raft to Arteta's, he's the one who sold all of this to Stan to further his own career, he's sold to Stan who know's nothing about "soccor" that this is a "project", fact is every club has a project annually, its called the Summer transfer window, its just they call it what it is they don't make up fancy labels for it and use it as a crutch for failure.

If we have a project then what is Utd doing with Ten Haag and a rumoured clear out, what's Newcastle doing? Spurs? .......... and you think we have a project? :rofll:

Clowns gonna clown.

What's our project, "Project Europa fail"?

Fully deserved contract for the good job he’s done this year.
Don’t fall into the trap you fell into at the start of the year when you claimed we signed no first team players. (That was funny especially when you doubled down on it  )
We’re going to be strengthening again in the summer.

Wonder if finishing behind Tottenham next season will still be considered a good season

@JayRam are you going to answer one question at all tonight?

Your ducking and diving is getting ugly, you've not answered one thing all evening, but then I guess you can't through that lump that's growing in your throat.
