Guendouzi is clear and always has been if that idiot hadn’t fallen out with Arteta, we wouldn’t be watching this mediocre player

Yup.
But we’ll have the Doomer trolls out in force for a while.
Happy day for them.

I actually think his performances have tailed off when he’s played recently, not sure he’s ready for the 1st team, could maybe use a loan.

There’s a club in France who do a good job of developing young players. ;)

We don’t really have many options. Hopefully he finds some form quickly. Haven't been impressed with him so far.

He plays best next to a DM, today his partner was Charlie Patino, an 18 year old attacking midfielder/playmaker. Not his fault. Put AMN there and it is a different game.
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Tomiyasu--Saliba/Timber--Gabriel/Kiwior--???/Zinchenko
???/Jorginho
Odegaard/Smith Rowe----Rice/???
Saka/Jesus-------------------Martinelli/Trossard

You mentioned that and it was odd the first time.
His last game was as a sub for 9 minutes when we trashed Soton and he was fine.
Prior to that he was one of our best players against Newcastle.
After that COVID.
Not sure what you are talking about.

When the team plays badly in a game, that is all it is.
No need to attempt to make it more than that.

We’re the best team in the league at developing young players if they are good enough, so no need to send him on loan. That would be utterly stupid when we’re short of midfielders.

This. He looked poor because the system was poor!

His mistake for the goal was schoolboy though, can't tell me you have to pass the ball so close to an opposing player that it hits their arm which was by their side. There was margin for error ffs!!

Could've put Chambers there, not loaned AMN or even played Xhaka. The midfield was non-existent. In any case, at the time of the goal Odegaard was put back there!!

Edit - didn't realise Xhaka had covid.
