Nonsense.
He’s a young player who will have good and bad games as he learns.
That’s the route we have decided to take with the squad.
Some fans just react game by game with such nonsense. Clueless.

Yes - he lacked the baseline ability to make the squad and needed to improve some more.

Can't understand why Elneny did not start. He's far better defensively and knows Pool better than this guy who parachuted in from Belgium.

Rather have Elneny start and him come on if we're cruising.

Excellent today.
Really good player that will only get better.
Much better than Partey today.
It’s not a new partner for Partey that is needed as some have said to get the best from Partey.
It’s the other way around.
Partey was poor again today. He and Auba both below the standard of the rest.

Looked great today from the highlights, much better than last week which was just too big of a game for him. I think he's a solid signing so far but should not be tasked with being No.1 CM so early.

Thought today was his best game for us.

Looked a lot more composed on the ball. As others have said I think it's Partey that is struggling a little at the moment. He looks a little more rash in comparison.

A better performance today. Just needs to come out his shell a bit more and take charge. He's only a year younger than Tomyiyasu, Ramsdale and Gabriel, the same age as Odegaard but the older than Tavaras, ESR, Martinelli and Saka. I keep thinking he's 18/19 because some of his performances remind me of someone just promoted to the seniors.

Either way, better today.

They are the same player, both would be better with a DM next to them and more freedom. Stick Bissouma next to either of them and see the difference.

I think a DM next to either player would make us worse. If both players were attack minded, liked to bomb into the box with late runs which kept exposing our defenders, i'd agree on a DM helping their game. They're just far too negative. Partey was really passive today and flat footed for the majority of the game.
