Spot on and that’s the very reason he won’t succeed, we never really progress, the odd decent game followed by a string of games where everything is hard work.

Negative football but without success.

That game was one for traditional English football of play strong and direct, its why Brighton looked better than us.

There were signs in the second half that if the weather wasn't so bad we could of got the ball down and played better.

Don't underestimate how bad the weather was, I live on the south coast and any worse it would of been a full on storm.

The weather was just the same for Brighton as well. Didn't seem to affect them..

The weather suited their game more than ours, was very difficult to get the ball down and play, most of their half chances came from deep crosses in to the box. At the end of the day it's 10 points out of a possible 12 and 1 goal conceded in 4 games since our defence was sorted, if we were offered that after the first 3 games we would have all been happy with it, we have 3 games at home coming up after the international break so let's see where we are after that.

I didn't watch the game or MoTD but according to the BBC write up we were lucky to get a draw, looks like they gave us a hammering in the first half. The players ratings for Arsenal were abysmal, we had 11 players rated under 6, 3 players were rated under 5 (with a combined value of £129m) and Brighton had 1.

Looks like we played shit.

Didn't play well.
Very sloppy at times.
The defence did dig in and play well though in the end.
Ramsdale and White particularly.
Overall probably a very good learning experience for a young team.
With so many young players, games like last night will happen.

You should be able to adapt, the weather is part and parcel of the English game, are we going to not perform everytime the sun isn’t shining.

These are just excuses, if you’re good enough you got out and perform and win, if you’re not you get outfought, outperformed and look 2nd best.

It’s the usual stuff we’ve seen for two years, nothing changes, decent performances and results are so few and far between. Why should we have to put up with this two years on, we should be a lot better than we are.

The guy has got his team now and so far this season he’s managed one decent half of football, yes we won a few games but other than the Spurs game (1st half) we haven’t performed.
