So everyone we beat is rubbish and not worth giving credit to the team for... I see.
Give it a rest.
We just won the NLD and played excellent football.

Time will tell, another season of 8th won't cut it for arteta this season, has to be at least top 6 to get us
back in to Europe and good cup runs for me, I think that would be an acceptable season as things stand (from the boards point of view). From my point of view I would be happy with top 5 and the carabao cup, that would show me we are heading in the right direction, for me anything less (6-8th) isn't showing enough progress especially considering the amount spent in the summer and amount of time gone since arteta took charge.

Nope, its one game where the performance was worthy of being an Arsenal performance. If he can repeat it regularly .. the humble pie will be eaten ... with double cream.

The team is on the up HH.
We've been getting better for some time... Since Christmas 2020.
The transfer business has been stunningly good and has added to it.
Arteta, bar some kind if disaster is now set for the long term. The team are really playing for him.

Did you miss the first 3 league games of the season? On the up you say ?!

We had major players missing and we've since brought in new players. We also played two of the best teams in the league.

On top of that, when we were the 2nd or 3rd best team in the league from Christmas to the end of the season, we also had a patch in there where we took 1 point from 9.. these things happen in this league because it is so hard.
They key is to avoid the long runs of 7 or 8 games where you take yourself out of it.

There is no doubt at all we're getting better and are on the up.. and it's been that way for months.

You just got too down about the start of the season. Think you need more balance because you've got sucked into the negativity hole.
Notice who hasn't even been on here yesterday and today so far?
We just beat Spurs - easily. You can bet that person would have been on here posting 'Arteta is shit' on every thread if we had lost. That's what being OTT negativity does - sucks the enjoyment out of the game even when we beat Spurs.
Climb out of your trench.

One swallow, doesn't make a summer! Without rehashing all the old posts, he's got a loooong way to go before anyone will need to eat any pie!

Anyway, its not like we haven't wanted him to do well!

4 games unbeaten, 3 clean sheets and 10 points.
Every manager in the world is happy you would never be in a position to be an owner.

Apparently so, agendas again, but like last season, ignore the bad and just talk about the not bad.

11 out of 21 points dropped so far.

10 points out of the last 12.
It's been an excellent 4 weeks.
Simple as that - it's undermined your agenda very badly.

11 points from 21 for season which is actually what counts, not a cherry picked amount (like last season).

Otherwise I may as well go back as far back as preseason and count those games as defeats?

So far this season your boy Arteta is a flop again based on results and performance.

Leicester, Spurs and Wolves have got a game in hand and we’re 9th which is around where Arteta loves to hover and have his entire career.
