Didn't we have the third best defence last season?

Saliba ready to come in after excelling on loan

But nope. Let's spend more money on defence lol.

Don't we have a negative goal difference this season?

You really think Arteta will give Saliba a chance? How’s it going to look if Saliba benches his 50 mil signing?

Pretty good. Would mean Saliba has improved enough to bench a 50 million signing. Fantastic problem to have in that scenario.

Mid season assessment - absolutely brilliant window.

Looks like 2 people got it right in the poll.
Who was the other one?

As expected, not getting what we needed last summer is coming back to haunt us

We got some of what we needed in this rebuild.
It proved to be an excellent window that has set the club on the right path.
Lets hope the next couple of windows can be as brilliant.

The 13% were indeed right.
These are the signings that got us into the thick of a top 4 race.
Inspired.
Game changing window for our clubs future.
:arsenal3:

Repeat for summer 22 please Mikel.

If he dont reach top 4 not one player of note is coming our way, no class act is going to come to a club that may play top football if they fluke it every 5-6 seasons

They will because we have money, we need to do what Liverpool have done and buy shrewd signings from mid table clubs like your Henderson's, milners, Robertson's etc, Liverpool have never signed any superstars, van dijk and mane were from Southampton, Jota was from wolves, we need to do the same, get in the likes of Raphinha from Leeds, Ruben Neves, bissouma etc, they would all come to us if we put a decent offer on the table and would improve us massively, imagine if we had bissouma and neves in centre midfield today and someone like Darwin Nunez up top for lacazette, it's a different game.
