If rumours are to be believed we could have a pretty hefty transfer budget available. Not including wages saved across Luiz, Kola, Mustafi, Ozil ...

Leno - £20m
Bellerin - £20m
Mavropanos - £10m
Chambers - £15m
Elneny - £5m
Niles - £20m
Xhaka - £20m
Nelson - £15m
Nketiah - £15m

Total - £235m

----

Onana - £10m
White - £40m
Adams - £30m
Neves - £40m
Lokonga - £15m
Bissouma - £35m
Odegaard - £50m

Total - £220m

Couldn't agree more, this will cause us issues getting the targets we want, its going to be a long window and I wonder how much genuine improvement is even going to be made ........... however I'd settle for a change in personnel simply for an transfer of attitude.

But Arsenal were recently warned that many of their targets will turn them down this summer because of one key issue.

“Arsenal have never been that much of an attractive option to me,” former Celtic and West Ham man Frank McAvennie told Football Insider.

“They have too many duds. They have a lot of players who think they are better than they actually are.

“Half of their team is like that. They all think they are superstars and they aren’t. Really, they aren’t even close.

“They don’t play together, they aren’t really a team. The gap is getting further between them and those top clubs.

“Why would a decent player want to join that?”

Who's Frank McNeverheardof ? Don't think real dudes think that way. We are still amongst top 5 paymasters and will get quite a few decent ones as long as recruiter don't screw up like Pepe, etc.

Yep, this is just a more detailed version of what Sjneider said yesterday about Onana.

'I expect him to leave,’ Sneijder told Veotbal International Live on Friday.

‘I think he is a great goalkeeper. One of the top in Europe? Yes, certainly.

‘I’d rather not see him at Arsenal. It’s a great club, but they have slipped in recent years. I’d rather see him play at Real Madrid or Barcelona.’

Sneijder also hit out at the decision from CAS to only reduce Onana’s ban by three months – with the 25-year-old claiming he took the banned substance by mistake – and believes he should be allowed to train again and resume the 2021/22 season as normal.

Thnk about what sort of player will want that though.

A player who doesn't mind a badly run club, can't get a coherant team together and has a rookie manager who is known for being an annoying micro manager who copies better managers because he doesn't have his own mind for tactics.

Plus no Europe and no top 4.

It will be players who are just after a payout like Willian was ........... and even he got fed up of it.

We could get Wilshere back. He’s released from Bournemouth. Fit and hungry. Bring him home.

Arsenal are a major draw to 90% of the football world, its only the best of the best and the almost best of the best that wouldn't consider coming here.

Anyone that says otherwise is chatting Hezbollah
