Has anyone heard about the “Tammy Abraham” rumour doing the rounds?

It’s making me nervous. £40 million and about £120,000 a week I hear.

Ridiculous money, just like the money for White.

We’ll burden ourselves with players we’ll want rid of when Arteta is replaced and won’t be able to shift them, much like we have in the past.

Sounds familiar, not enamored with our choices so far.

I see former Arsenal man, Malen has joined Dortmund for £27m and Andre Silva for £20m.

Yup. He’s done well. Probably biggest loss since Gnabry.

If we can’t do a deal for Xhaka he will start alongside Partey. We won’t be able to buy another CM and Sambo’s too raw to start.

Hadn't thought of that, imagine if we can't get buyers for Xhaka and Bellerin or their sales drag on and we miss out on key targets!

If we fumble the Xhaka deal...have we sold anyone yet?

Quite optimistic on Sambi. Looked very composed on the ball in the preseason game and he was also the captain of his previous club at a very young age. Regardless of levels being captain at that age says a lot about him.

Yeah but dude it’s the Belgian league. We must only judge em based on premier league.

Only if they actually buy him after the 1 year loan, somehow we’ve loaned this guy yet again.

Clearly he’s not in our plans and yet still we only loan him despite him having a very good season last season.

Even if we do sell him in a year, 3.5 million is pocket change.

So you’re quite optimistic about a guy from the Belgian league, a weaker league than the French league but of Saliba who has excelled in France and was rated one of the best young cbs in Europe you’re not sure about?

I'm not sure if Edu and Arteta have realized this, but next summer is a pre-World Cup summer. Only this time, the World Cup is only 6 months away. Most players expected to be in their national team squads wouldn't prefer to move with the World Cup only six months away.

We're already in need of a striker. Next summer, Lacazette would be off to another team and Auba would have a year left on his contract.

Our transfers this summer is even more crucial than ever.
